Unique Wedding Processional Inspiration

wedding processional

Your wedding ceremony will be such a cherished event! After all, you will vow your love to your soulmate, have your first kiss as newlyweds, walk back down the aisle as a now married couple…what could be more celebratory than that?

Amazing Ways to End Your Wedding Reception

However, before your wedding ceremony begins, you will make your way down the aisle during your processional. Do you know how you would like yours to be presented?

We believe that every wedding should be unique! That’s why, here at Mountain House on Sunday River, we have gathered some alternatives to the traditional wedding processional that you could choose to showcase on your own big day. Are you interested in discovering what these alternatives are? If so, be sure to continue reading:

  • Accompanied by Both Parents. Traditionally, the bride’s father will escort her down the aisle. However, you can choose to have both of your parents accompany you, as a way to incorporate and honor your mother as well. She will certainly appreciate the gesture!
  • Going Solo. If your father is not present to walk you down the aisle, or you don’t feel as though there is anyone that you would like to escort you, don’t fret, as you can walk solo! You can shine all on your own as you make your grand debut down the aisle.
  • Who Needs a Walk? Walking down the aisle is not mandatory when it comes to a wedding ceremony. In fact, you can skip the walk altogether and just join your partner at the altar.
